Barusan temen saya kasih tahu kalau video saya masuk NME Magazine karena themanya Motherly Videos. Video itu memang saya buat special untuk mama yang saya rindukan di Bandung sana. NME itu majalah online di London yang lumayan deh.

Nge-design web terus bikin kepala pusing, kita di tuntut ketelitian dan ketekunan luar biasa. Kadang, aku lelah, so sebagai pelarian, aku nyanyi. Menyanyi itu enak, hilangkan stress2.. hatipun happy. Hanya saja, aku ada kendala.. di appartement aku, ga bebas untuk teriak, dindingnya berbatasan langsung sama tetangga, so kalau teriak kencang mereka bisa denger, aku takut di tingtong, diprotes pula.. gawat deh urusan.. So, kepaksa nyanyinya pake suara bisik2, hehe.. kedengeran syukur engga yo wes ewess ewesss… Kalo keyboard enak, ada colokan ke headphone langsung, so hanya kita sendiri yang denger, ga problem.

Baru2 ini aja aku percaya diri mau publish suaraku, dulu sih ahh, boro2.. malu aja yang ada, hehe. Kali ini aku duet ama penyanyi dan pengarang lagu dari PHILIPPINES, namanya Robert but aku panggil dad atau Bob aja. Tiap nyanyi, si papih gangguin melulu, kompak ama Chacha ganggu aja.. selalu aku lagi record serius, mereka tiba2 teriak dung.. dung.. ahhhhh, sutress deh, ulang lagi ulang lagi, hehe.. So, akhirnya mentok, ada papih ama Chacha sih aku ga bisa nyanyi serius, akhirnya nunggu mereka pergi, baru deh nyanyi, hehehe.. *papih and Chacha emang bandel amatzz*

Ini video sengaja dibikin suasana romantis karena menyesuaikan ama lagunya, agar yang denger ikut terbawa suasana romantisnya, hehe. Ntar pengen duet ama papih ah.. lagunya lagu cublak cublak suweng paling.. ya pap ya?

Everytime I hear this song I always remember my mom. She has been singing this song since I was a little girl and it is such a wonderful memory of my childhood years. The original singer of this tune is a Chinese singer by the name of Teresa Teng and is called “The Moon Represents My Heart”.

Everytime I listen to this song, my thoughts take me back to the time when I was still with her most of the time and would remind me of her motherly love. This song is very mellow and so calming that when I feel a little stressed, I use to listen to it. I like to listen to this song especially before I go to sleep. I feel that this song can make me feel relaxed as if I’m sleeping under the moonlight. I dedicated this song for my beloved mommy in Bandung who I miss so much. I wish my mom will like it.

Finally, I would like to say thank you to Bob and Anjo (from Philliphines) for improving the quality of my recording.

I always love to listen to this song. It comes so deep from the heart that the words it relay are so romantic and true. It always touches me because I know that that is how someone would really feel when truly loving a person and would always want to express it openly and show what has been kept inside the heart.

Just by reading along the lyrical lines, it would easily show the real feeling of the one singing it. It is sang in German language but I tried to translate it in English and though the words doesn’t really rhyme as in a song, it would somehow mean like this.

Di Ulm cuaca sudah mulai dingin, suhu seputar 0° celcius. Dedaunan mulai berguguran. Warnanya kekuningan indah berserakan. Suhu begini kita mulai nyalakan Heizung (pemanas) untuk memberi kehangatan di ruangan. Walau dingin begini kita masih aja nekad bersepeda ke luar kota. Kemarin juga ke Neu Ulm makan di resto favourite pakai sepeda. Enak dingin2 bersepeda, langsung keringetan.

Bersepeda adalah cara singkat buat bikin badan langsing. Cepet sekali turunnya, sehat pula. Sayang di negeriku tercinta sepeda tidak cukup popular, dari segi keamanan mungkin yang kurang. Masih belum ada jalur khusus untuk pesepeda.
